What does the rent comparison report show?
It compares your rent to local medians and averages based on RTB Rent Index data. You'll see exactly where you sit — below, at, or above the median for your area — plus a visual breakdown showing your percentile position.
What is the property inspector for?
It helps you create a timestamped, room-by-room condition report when you move in or out. Rate each item (walls, floors, fixtures, etc.) and add notes. This report is critical evidence if your landlord tries to withhold your deposit for pre-existing issues.
How does the dispute savings calculator work?
Enter your current rent and your landlord's proposed increase. The calculator shows you the maximum legal increase under the 2% cap, how much your landlord is overcharging per month, and your total savings over 1, 2, and 3 years if you successfully dispute the increase.
